TAKING TIME TO CHILL THE F*** OUT!!

Last night I was in need of a pamper evening. This week has been a really hard week at work. Add not feeling well into the mixture and by yesterday I was exhausted, unhapy and really stressed out. I just needed to not think about work for 5 minutes, chill out, be myself and rest. I know a pamper evening seems a little cliche, but today I feel more positive, awake and calm.

Tom spent the evening at his Mom's with his friend because they're fishing today, so I had the bed to myself. Usually I hate this, I can't sleep very well if he's not next to me but I loved it last night. I got to stay awake until midnight watching Pretty Little Liars, spread myself out all over the bed like a starfish and eat a tonne of Kinder Bueno.

I ran a bath, took my desk chair up to the bathroom and placed my laptop on it so I could watch Pretty Little Liars from the bath (please no one spoil the ending - I'm only on the third series).

My favourite product to use to remove my make up is the Clinique Take the day off balm. I've spoken about it before on my blog and I love it. I have recently renewed my Glossybox subscription and within this months Glossybox I received this Bee Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator. I tried it out last night and even though I have only used it once, I can tell this is going to be a future favourite of mine. I have really sensitive skin and I spent many years not using any form of exfoliator on my face (gross right?) because I was so scared they would be too harsh on my skin. The Honey and Camelina Facial Exfoliator is really soft, smells delicious and left my skin feeling so soft and plump. I really liked it and I'm excited to continue using it - so far I really recommend this product.

After I exfoliated my face I put on the Pixi Glow Mud Mask, again I've spoken about this product before and it's another favourite of mine. Another favourite of mine is this L'Oréal Extraordinary Oil Hair MaskWhat I like about this product is that you don't have to leave it sitting on your hair for ages. You use it after shampoo and you leave it in for 2-3 minutes and it does leave my hair feeling super soft afterwards. Plus it smells great!

I feel so much better today after taking a time out last night. I still have a lot of work to do but I'm not letting it stress me out today. I'm going to cook a roast dinner, eat cheesecake for pudding, drink tea and have a chilled out Sunday.
