Naturally, I am a ghost. Yes I'm Casper! I'm so unbelievably pale and no offence to those who can pull it off... I just can't! I envy the likes of Lily Cole and Scarlett Johansson who have that beautiful English rose skin. I feel so much more confident and comfortable when I've got my fake tan on... That's really shallow of me I guess but if it makes me feel more confident then I should embrace it right? Well I do anyway.

I have naturally quite dry skin so the sugars in the fake tan don't do my skin good (so I've been told). If I don't look after my skin before and after applying fake tan it can go very patchy and doesn't last that long at all. In other words, I can look a total mess! So I thought I would share the products I use to help my skin when I'm pretending to be a golden goddess...
To start off with I always exfoliate. Applying fake tan to skin that hasn't been prepped properly can result in you being mistaken for a reptile... Not hot! I haven't found a body scrub that I feel really works for me yet and they can be a little rough so I like to use an exfoliating mit. It's a lot easier to exfoliate gently on the areas that are a little sensitive. I usually just use my mit with whatever shower gel I've got knocking about.

If I know I don't have time after my shower to wait for moisturiser to dry/sink in, then I'll use this in shower body moisturiser by Nivea. It's amazing, it leaves your skin feeling so soft and doesn't leave any residue once you've got out the shower. If I've used this in the shower then I will skip the next step completely.

I use the Avon Care Cocoa Butter moisturiser after I've came out the shower as it sinks in really quick and smells heavenly! I'll usually try and put my tan on in the evening, so it has all night to develop properly.
I use the Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter (which I have wrote a review on here) once I've had my tan on for the day and washed off the guide colour on the evening. So Cocoa Butter moisturiser in the morning and The Body Shop Body Butter on the evening. I've found that keeping my skin moisturised has been the best way of making sure my tan lasts longer.
The fake tan product I keep coming back to is this St. Moriz mouse. It's dead cheap and no matter what other fake tan products I've tried this one just beats the rest in my opinion (although I haven't used them all so...) I've tried the fake bake spray on but I found that didn't last as long and I didn't like the colour on myself. I do however find one bottle of this St. Moriz can last a while. I use it about 2 to 3 times a week, all over my body and a bottle can last around 4 weeks. So with £2.99 a bottle I think I have myself a top bargain there!

Do you have any other fake tan recommendations?

Hi my name is Sian, and I am addicted to lipstick. Phew! Glad I got that off my chest. I believe a good lipstick can finish off an entire outfit, I think it can be the best accessory and it's my best friend! So I thought I'd share my personal favourites that I've loved from day 1.

The Nudes:

Topshop Lips in colour Saint.
Collection Cream Puff in Powder Puff.
It was only last year that I made my first Topshop Lipstick purchase, where the hell was I? Why did I wait so long to join the train? I love them!
Topshop - Saint. The colour pay off is amazing, this one is very true to colour and it's really buttery and a beautiful texture. You do however have to have super moisturised lips to wear this one, it can attach itself them dry bits (that sounded horrible). The colour online is actually nothing like the colour in the bullet, it's much more of a nuder colour than that, not that baby pink.
Collection - Powder Puff. I first brought this product when I saw Annabel wear it, it's a gorgeous buttery lip cream. I've got two colours from this range and I love them. Although they say they're a moisturising lip cream, I don't think they're that moisturising and can stick to crack lips a little. So make sure you use the old lip balm before hand.

The Pinks:

Collection Lasting Colour in Pink Shock.
Collection Cream Puff in the colour Fairy Cake
Collection - Pink Shock. This is an amazing bright bold vibrant pink. Slightly more on the purple side of pink, it's stunning! I will usually wear this lipstick if I'm wearing a really dark outfit, so usually black, just to add a little pop of colour. It's not drying and only fades a little throughout the day. I usually only touch up once around mid day when I wear this.
Collection - Fair Cake. This is the second colour I have out of the two Cream Puff's this is another bold colour. It's got a slight red tone to it and I like that you can build up the colour with this, so if I wanted a minimal look I'd only use one layer of this.

The Oranges:

Revlon Colourburst Matt Balm in the shade Audacious.
Topshop Lips in Infared.

Orange lipsticks are my favourite at the moment, it's just the perfect colour to finish off a minimal look. A winged liner and a quick swipe with one of these and your good to go!
Revlon - Audacious. This is slightly more on the pink side, it dries matt instantly when you put it on but it doesn't look or feel dry, they feel really moisturising. It does need a touch up throughout the day I've found if you want it to continue looking vibrant.

Topshop - InfaredThis was the first orange lipstick I'd brought, it's slightly on the red side of orange but beautiful. Again it's a buttery texture, super moisturising but doesn't last that long on the lips. I do have to touch up a few times a day with this. Such a gorgeous colour though.

The Big Bold Lips:

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in the shade Mulberry.
W7 Kiss Lipstick Matt in Vampire Kiss.
Maxfactor - Mulberry. This is the lipstick I've repurchased the most. It's a really moisturising feeling on the lips, the colour is really dark so you wont get a light wash of colour with this one. It's a gorgeous deep purple with a pearl shine to it, not sparkly but super shiny. It is the perfect colour to make them lips stand out!
W7 - Vampire Kiss. I got this lipstick in a goodie bag at an event I went to last year and it's the only red lipstick I run to. It's a matt texture but not drying at all, I wouldn't say it's moisurising but it doesn't cling to them dry lips either, its magic I tell you. It's got a velvet look it when it's on the lips it's beautiful. It's a postbox red, there's no beating around the bush with this - It's RED alright. This is the most amazing lipstick ever, it literally lasts the WHOLE day! I don't have to touch up once and still looks the same at the end of the night as it did when I put it on. No joke! It really does last that long!! I really want to try some other shades from this range, I am so pleased with every aspect of this lipstick, colour, duration it lasts, texture everything. A massive 10/10!

The Lip Care:

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub.
Maybelline Babylips Lip Balm.
I seem to always have dry lips, no matter what weather we have what products I use it's just a thing that I have to put up with. I have found these products help them out a lot and leave them feeling less sore. I've written a review on the Lush Lip Scrub here it's a bloody brilliant product! I was a bit late jumping on the babylips train, It's a good products but I think maybe a little over hyped. It works well but it's not the most amazing lip balm I've tried.

What's your favourite Lip product? Do you wear lipstick to finish off a look?

Pink Grapefruit Body Butter c/o The Body Shop
I'm someone who fake tan's pretty much everyday, so keeping my skin moisturised is vital to achieving a natural looking tan. I've naturally got quite dry skin anyway and of course using fake tan doesn't really help - oh the price we women pay to looking like a bronzed goddess!
Recently I've been using this body butter from The Body Shop and I'm really liking it. This product comes from the Pink Grapefruit range they have and let me tell you this, it smells heavenly! Literally so delicious I just want to eat it (please don't do that anyone!)
I first started using it after I'd got out the shower in the morning but found it too heavy, it's a little bit greasy and takes a little while to really 'sink' into the skin. So now I'm using it on the evenings before getting into bed which works so much better. It rubs in really easily and only leaves a slight greasy feeling in certain areas, like the backs of your knees and the bit where your arm bends (other side of your elbow, what is that bit called?). As I mentioned it smells delicious, it's not an overpowering smell but it is strongly scented of grapefruit - duh?
When I wake up in the morning my skin feels so soft and it's really helped the appearance of my tan (although the image above I look paler, damn natural light changing). I only ever used to moisturise once I'd got out the shower and but I'm finding since using this product on the evening aswell I don't have to apply my fake tan as much, it's lasting a lot longer. I also really like the fact that the scent of my fake tan and this body butter don't 'fight'. Usually a scented moisturiser mixes horribly with my fake tan and can smell a little unpleasant, but that doesn't happen with this product at all.

Over all I would rate this a 8/10. Its a great Body Butter and the smell is gorgeous - I want to go and try out all the other fragrances now! It's a great price aswell at just £13, you get a 200ml tub and a little of this goes a long way - so a total bargain really!

I really should not be left in my own company, FACT! I get really bored, and when I'm bored on my own I come up with the worst ideas and end up doing some sort of big fail. In the past I've come up with ideas to cut up my favourite pair of jeans and ended up with nothing left of them, baked some kind of cake I've not even got a recipe to and it just ended up looking like vomit (yes that's happened before), this time it was try to dye my hair blonde! WHAT WAS I THINKING?

I went through a faze a few months ago of really wanting pastel pink hair (there was even a blog post all about it), I decided I was going to do it, brought the hair dye and everything... Then sensible job searching Sian came along though and changed my mind for me (Well done, good job sensible Sian). I still had a blonde hair dye lurking in my drawers and the other day when I was really bored, looking for fun things to keep me occupied, I decided to dip dye my hair again. Well I started to put the dye on and then just went mad and put it all over my head! Instantly I regretted it, I wish there was a control + Z button for real life! After about 40 minutes of having this colour on my hair, I washed it out and the worst possible thing (well my hair could of fell out, that would be the worst outcome really wouldn't it?) It went green!!!!! My natural hair colour went green and the rest turned into this red-ish pink colour, of course the little stubble bit of hair that's growing back from when I shaved my head was yellow, eugh it was disgusting - a total disaster!
I went to the shop the next morning after going for breakfast with Mark and brought a brunette hair dye... Yep, the first thing I did was put that bad boy on and prayed it didn't come out wrong as well!

I have used this Garnier Nutrisse Creme hair dye in the colour Aurburn 4.5. I have used this hair dye before but in a different colour and it is one of my favourites. There isn't a disgustingly over powering smell that chokes you and it doesn't leave your hair feeling brittle afterwards. The conditioner that comes with it is AMAZING as well. I love the results of this colour, it's still got hints of red in for obvious reasons and the green is gone - Can I get a hurray?

This look here is my favourite look at the moment. It's dead easy and super quick. I went out on Friday for a few drinks with Mark and our friends and I had about 20 minutes to get ready, this is the look I went for but with a nuder lip and slightly darker on the eyes. I think it's gorgeous and I feel really confident when I wear it.
  Loreal True Match Foundation
  Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
  Illamasqua Brow Cake
Rimmel London 5 pan Eyeshadow - Brixton Brown
Loreal Miss Manga Mascara
Collection Bronze Glow
Glossybox Lipstick
Collection Cream Puff - Powder Puff
Ever since I saw Lily Pebbles talk about this eye shadow I've wanted to get my hands on it, Its gorgeous! My favourite colour is the middle one but I can't wear much of it as it makes my eyes look a little sore.

For this look I used the bottom two shades over my lids and then ran the middle colour through my crease. I also ran the shade on the bottom left over my bottom lashes as well and then blended everything together. It seems to of came up a lot more purple in the images, which I haven't edited, only brightened.
