A few weekends ago Mark and I decided to take a day trip to Dudley Zoo and I thought I'd share a few pictures of our adventures to the Zoo.

I hadn't been in YEARS, the sun was shining so we packed a picnic and jumped in the car. A friend had told me they'd refurbished a lot of the zoo but I couldn't remember what it looked before it'd been that long since I'd gone. It was slightly disappointing as we paid £14 each to get into a zoo where 85% of the animals were nowhere to be seen. It isn't a very big zoo and considering it was a beautiful day we assumed most of the animals would be outside enjoying the weather like us but the majority of the animals were inside where we couldn't see them. That however was the only downfall to the day, I'm not being a negative Norman here - we did genuinely have a lovely day!

Where's the best Zoo you've been to? The best one I've been to is Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands.

In exactly 25 days I'm going on holiday to Tunisia. I've never been before and it's been a few years since I went on a holiday abroad. I'm going away with my Mom and some family, I seriously can't wait to sit by the pool, walk along the beach, dip my toes in the sea... oh the list goes on and on...

I don't know about you but I love putting together clothing for the evenings. In the day I usually just whack on some shorts and my bikini and then a vest top and boom I'm ready for the beach!

So I've put together a wishlist of some evening outfits from George at Asda.

1. Embellished dress | 2. Sandals | 3. Jacket | 4. Nail Polish

1. Dress 2. Lipstick 3. Dress 4. Waterproof Mascara 5. Sandals

1. Dress 2. Necklace 3. Necklace 4. Shoes 5. Nail Polish

George at Asda have got some really beautiful summer wear at the moment, Check out their summer dresses here. I can't wait for payday to come, I'll be heading to my local Asda straight away!

With Love,

How cute is this necklace? I adore it! The wonderful people at the Bullring in Birmingham had it made especially for me to celebrate the opening of the Tatty Devine pop up shop in the iconic Selfridges store.
I have seen these personalised necklaces before and I've often admired the quirky geometric style of Tatty Devine's collections so as you can imagine I was over the moon when I opened this little gift.

A MASSIVE thank you to the Bullring and Tatty Devine for my gorgeous Tea An Toast necklace! As I mentioned above Tatty Devine have a pop up shop in Selfridges on level 4.

Photo from my day out to Dudley Zoo (post coming soon)
Nearly 2 months have managed to creep past without me doing a single blog post. I'm not going to lie and say it's because I've been super busy, truth is I reached a point where I didn't want to be blogging. I know numerous other bloggers have written about how they feel the blogging community is now different and I really do agree, sometimes I get to a point where I just don't want to be a part of it anymore.

I love doing my blog, it's given me the opportunity to meet some amazing people and make brilliant friends. I also love that I'm able to express myself and share things with people I never would of necessarily of had an opportunity to otherwise.

The community seems to have become a little bitchy and that's not something I have enjoyed being a part of over the past few months. It's horrible to read some of the nasty comments people leave on other blogs that you've looked up to and have loved for so many years. Constructive criticism is always nice and everyone needs it once in a while - but making fun of someone's weight or how bad their skin looks in a photo is just damn right nasty. It's bullying!

It's only fair to say that this is only a small minority and all of the blogging community is NOT like that! We support each other and we're friends. We're there to congratulate on how brilliant that photo looks which might of taken a while to set up, we're there to support when someone's blogging about going through a tough time and to laugh along with those photos which were considered an out take.

I love that whenever I need a little advise or have a question about something I can just reach for my twitter app and get tweets from people I may not of ever spoken to before, but we all talk like we're helping out a friend. It's nice to be a part of that!

This little break away has made me realise that I do miss being a part of the blogsphere and it's also made me remember why I love doing it so much. I think we all need a little break away from things sometimes to realise what it means to us.

You may of noticed we've also had a little make over, I've wanted to get my layout tidied up for a while and I absolutely love it. I'm really excited to be back, I've got a few posts planned and can't wait to share them with you all.
